I’m Gaelen Chinnock, a certified Highlands consultant, Master’s Marriage and Family Therapy student, photographer, writer, and jack-of-all-trades INFJ with 10+ years in the field of psychology. My experiences range from couples’ counseling to Applied Behavior Analysis to case management and more. I am on a never-ending journey to become my best self, and that journey has brought me to you! I’m here to help, to guide, to teach, and to spread the love and validation that we all need.

Laurel House, Inc.: Community Support Housing Coordinator and Group Facilitator
2017-2019
Provided and supervised rehabilitative community support services for individuals struggling with significant mental health challenges as well as chronic homeless, services which included: case management, crisis intervention, and 1:1 counseling. At Laurel House I also facilitated psychosocial groups for the local community as well as their families, conducting 8 week series that included topics such as Coping Skills training, Communication and Social skills training, and an ongoing Family Support group.

Populations included: the chronically homeless; intellectually disabled; physically disabled; senior citizens, adults, and adolescents; individuals with severe mental health challenges including personality disorders, psychotic disorders, Down’s syndrome, etc.; clients struggling with substance abuse; and adolescents in and out of foster care.
